Melanie is a senior consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at UCH. She runs a large service for patients with cancer and chronic illness, with weekly clinics for adults and young people to manage the ‘late effects’ of cancer and its treatment. She also leads the fertility preservation service for women and girls facing a new cancer diagnosis cancer. She runs clinics for menopause and premature ovarian insufficiency.
Melanie has contributed to many national and international publications, including the NICE guidance on Menopause: diagnosis and management and the ESHRE guideline on Premature ovarian insufficiency. She is an elected member of the Medical Advisory Committee of the British Menopause Society.
